2012 SANFL State Coach - Godden appointed

Postby MagareyLegend » Mon Jan 09, 2012 4:17 pm

Who should it be?

Darel Hart stood down after the last state game in 2010.

I think the general rule of thumb is that it should not be someone who is heavily committed to / aligned with an AFL or SANFL club.

Good call but I'd say he wouldn't due to wanting to spend as much time as possible with West.

But Mickan is now heavily affiliated with West JimO (as stated by Wedgie).

Sorry, thought he was only part time at West on an advisory role. Wasnt aware he was deeply involved

Here is a bit of a list I have put together with the broad criteria being that they have played SANFL league football, have some sort of profile and still have an involvement in SA football in Adelaide or nearby:
Stephen Williams
Alan Stewart
Gary McIntosh
James Gallagher
Tim Ginever
Trevor Hill
Kym Hodgeman
Brodie Atkinson
Roger James
Andrew Jarman
David Tiller
Kym Koster
Andrew Rogers
Bradley Ryan

Not as stupid as it initially sounds, that sort of job would probably suit him.
