A few clubs will have new Captains in season 2012, with Norwood, Glenelg and Eagles coming to mind.

The Eagles first to appoint their new skipper for next year with Luke Powell taking over the mantle from Mark Mackenzie.

A good choice by the Eagles, no doubt their fans will be pleased with the choice.

I think Sheeds will still be captain but wouldn't be surprised if he stepped aside to help with a transition to another captain, he's that sort of a bloke, if so my $$$$ is on Thomson.

I'm sure most Bays fans would agree that Ty Allen would be the perfect new skipper fo the Tigers...

Well deserved to Luke Powell and a great choice. Hopefully this means he has a couple more seasons in him.

Brett Zorzi for mine but the Legs may go for someone longer term as Brett is in his final year or two.
I would give him the captaincy as reward and recognition of the great player he has been for our club. Respected by all.

That's why I said most Jabber ;)

I think Kirkby would be a good leader also and wouldn't be surprised to hear him named VC if Ty Allen gets the gig.

Same here mate, (Although I wish it was Zorba), with Suckling as his vice-captain.

Zorba deserves it even if it is only for a short time, and he would make a good Captain I think..
His intended successor, or two possibles, can be his VC's for the period.
It won't harm whoever succeeds him to be his understudy for a short time.

Speaking with Zorba at a pre Christmas BBQ he really wants the honor of being captain.

The North Adelaide Football Club has great pleasure in announcing it's leaders for the 2012 season.

Captain - James Allan
Vice Captains - Greg Gallman and James Bennett

Interesting that Clint Alleway has not been included amongst the club leaders for 2012 and whether it was his decision or the clubs?

I'm guessing this would this be so he can just concentrate on his own game?
