The Board of the North Adelaide Football Club have great pleasure in announcing Mr Greg Edwards as the newly appointed Chief Executive Officer. Greg will start his role immediately and looks forward to taking the Club forward both on and off the field. Greg said that he was honored to be given the opportunity to lead the club into the future...

“Glenn and the Board have built a solid foundation over recent years, giving the club an ability to develop our facilities and invest in the two most important parts of our club, its football operations and its supporters. I have been lucky enough to work closely with our staff at Prospect Oval over the last 12 months, including Matt and Tania, the two outstanding young managers at each of our venues.
As they will all tell you, I am a traditional football person. I demand that my club brings a high level of passion, competitiveness and spirit… both on and off the field. On the field we are working hard through Josh Francou and his coaching group to drive this culture. Players are chosen on character first, followed by competitiveness and ability. Off the field we will work hard to deliver the highest level of value to our sponsors, members and supporters. I personally look forward to meeting with all of our sponsors and the many new sponsors I plan on inviting to be part of this great club. In addition and most importantly, I look forward to riding the highs and lows (not too many I hope!) with our most valuable people, our members and supporters. Bring it on!”

Greg's comprehensive background in football is listed below, along with his previous employment. We hope you all join us in congratulating Greg and wishing him the best for 2012 and beyond.

fairy nuff.

I suppose they should've stated that, but in hindsight normally only NA members/fans would see it so they would know who they're talking about.

I thought he came back as footy manager because he wanted to be closer to the playing side of footy.
I think he will do a great job as CEO but it's a bit of robbing Paul to pay Peter, no the club needs to find a footy manager as good as he was.

He came back as Football Manager but was always going to be groomed to be Glenn's sucessor.

Good appointment - he is a very approachable and honest guy and will give a new style and direction which is what you expect. He will be close to the Football side of the Club, that needs the attention whereas the business side takes care of itself pretty well all the time.
