It could be an interesting year I think the premiership window is at 11 or 12 o'clock for at least 3 clubs Eagles, Centrals and Norwood if they dont fall into a hole again. I see big improvents from South North and Port Adelaide but I guess it will depend on the Foxtel Cup what are your predictions?

The Wiggles will be there again, look at their past 15 years. Central top 3, Norwood are gawn, won't make the 5 UNLESS the other 6 are that crap again that they get held up into 3rd spot by default.

Agree, North should be right up there.
What will be successful for South next season? They could win a couple more games than this year and still miss out on the finals.
Norwood's list is similar to where the Eagles have been two or three times over the last decade where we've needed to regenerate some aspects but still have been able to maintain a competitive spot in the finals. But can they do it?
Really, any of the bottom four teams have strong claims to appearing in the finals again, and can only be judged a disappointment if they don't, (maybe 6-7 for Sturt would be acceptable) but then who finishes bottom? Can't see Glenelg falling that far, and surely South won't let themselves implode again.

Norwood will scrape into finals but wont go far. Cetrals to win it and West for the spoon.

Up there again ....dogs & eagles
South anything less than top 3 will be seen as disappointing .
Will be interesting who they recruit in off season .
North , port in 5 ....big improvers.
Might get there .... West and Norwood to come back down the ladder.
Gone .....sturt & bays

Bloody big call mate. We over achieved massively last year and I'll be happy to make the 5 again.

I don't think any clubs have even finalised their list yet, bit early for this discussion imho.

Well I know it's a huge call but the club wrote it in one of their newsletters they sent out to members.... I think fuller wrote it. Got to keep making goals

I think a lot depends on how sides replace players with recruiting. Not really happy to make a call just yet!

FFS wait until after the draft.
Everyone said Norwood would miss the finals last year !
Norwood will be strong again on the back of a good junior program and some selective recruiting again.
Only Centrals and Eagles could be classified as definate power sides at this stage.

Well what if, we win 11 games in the minor round and finish fourth and fith?
that still will be more two more wins than 2011, would you could that a disappointing minor round?

Way too early. South mayy struggle due to their losses but all depends on recruiting.

Losses? Horne, Lyon, Cockshell & Sandery. Most clubs would lose similar in a year surely. O'Keefe back from injury, hopefully Bollenhagen & McNamarra return and we haven't announced one recruit yet either.

Just going on what was writen in the end of season review.....they want top 3 next year.
"We now start to prepare for 2012 and what generally happens when we set our goals for the next season it is about improvement.
Considering we ended up finishing 4th I would think our goals would be around finishing top 3 at the end of the home and away next year.
This will mean winning at least 14 games in the season and as we only won 8 and half to qualify you can see that there is considerable work to be done to get there." - Quoted from Ron Fullers Match report from 2nd Semi v's Eagles

Souths depth means you cant afford to lose players.
