I understand the Bays were super-keen to play on Good Friday, sow with them being the closest team to South, reckon such a game could start a great annual rivalry.

Yea, a lot of doggie supporters will travel from the Ponderosa to Arctic Park. :? Why not make it a night game so they have a reason to set off their flares?

Central have a very healthy crowd that travel to Noarlunga, day or night. And if memory serves me correct, the last flare set off down there was actually by a Port supporter.

I was thinking more along the lines that they have often crucified us of late but never mind.

Centrals always have a good turnout at Noarlunga. I suspect the game will be under lights which will mean that those who have to travel will have plenty of time during the day to attend to other matters.

Apparently a couple of clubs have said they will not play on Good Friday, iám more interested in the clubs that said they won't play on the day and what their reasons would be when the majority of clubs appear to have no issue.

Having attended both South v Glenelg & South v Dogs night matches last season.
The South v Glenelg crowd was much larger.

You'd expect South to push for the highest possible attendence, which would probably be against Nwd, Sturt or Glenelg.

Nothing spiritual just a lack of discipline

Obviously and being greedy I'd love it if its North but I think the common sense move would be having South v Glenelg and really promoting the bejesus out of it.
Would be a great crowd IMHO.

They sometimes set off flares in the daytime anyway

Think Glenelg would be the logical choice. Neighbouring club, good rivalry ticks all the boxes for a good crowd and a good chance for the club to do some serious $$$ of turnover on the night.
