Anyone out there that can enlighten us on some comments made by players given the microphone throughout the night?

It started long before Dougie's time with Westies. A century ago they had a huge bust up when they lost players of the ilk of Tom Leahy and "Sorry" Tierney after Westies had been Champions of Australia. Then there was the huge bust up after the 1947 premiership when the three Taylors went to Glenelg and even Jack Broadstock left for Torrens. Then of course we all know of the bust up in 1963 soon after the 1961 premiership.

Most clubs have bust ups (certainly including my own) but Westies have made it an art form for over a century.

I love the line in the Pash papers where Jeff Pash, when talking about West finally having a home at Richmond in 1958, says "West Adelaide now have a home from where there champions can leave."

Any truth to the FEVOLA AT WEST RUMOUR next year that i heard today???

Some good news for West fans. Marlon Motlop has said if he doesn't get drafted he will be lining up for West again next season.

I hope the reserves coach has him in his planning for 2012.
