Yes, congrats on winning again in 2011.

And the year after, and the year after that.

You cannot be stopped. It's utterly ridiculous.

Structure.
Strong bodies (don't think I've ever seen one of your players lose a 1-on-1).
Physicality.

No teams come close.

11 Straight Finals wins

16 straight minor (Non Grand) finals wins

12 straight second semi final wins

Staggering ... and the way they demolished Norwood today ... just staggering.

I think it's more a case of how proud doggies supporters are for what they've achieved so far this year, against adversity. I've seen some of our best ever minor round wins this year. So many young guys stepping up. Four key retirements before and during the year, and our only recruit for 2011, doing his knee. Just proud of the effort so far.

I think Norwood are done, simply due to injuries.

I think the Eagles can push the Dogs if they win next week, they have the bigger bodies and while Dogs were good today I dont think they were great.

Don't write Norwood off because of two injuries, albeit to two fine players in Campbell and Young. After all, Central have managed to win games this year with as many as 12 first-choice players out injured. We are still without Obst, Nash, Dutschke, Slattery, Westhoff, Dunne, Symes and Sibenalar. Added to that, Varcoe, Duncan and Menzel are only just returning from injury, Havelberg may miss the Grannie due to injury and Pumpa and Hayesy could be out suspended.

Yep, awesome outfit and 2 things will happen when this run is eventually over:

1) We will all know that we have just witnessed a dominance that none of us will ever see repeated in our life times.

2) People win re-gain interest in the SANFL

Seriously though, bloody awesome outfit the dogs

Good luck to Central, if the other SANFL clubs cant at least match what they are doing then they will simply continue to be the also rans of the SANFL.

There was a time when many people questioned whether the Port Magpies dominance of the SANFL would end, it did and South will have our day over Central soon enough! ;)

Spot on Sojourner i can remember Sturt dominating in the 60's Port dominating in the 50's,70's 80's and 90's but nothing like this 12 years in a row all good things must come to an end sooner or later.

In my household, the month that follows September has been called Dogtober for at seven years now.

It's been a joy to watch and I too am just stoked to be in another grand final. If we win it, that'll be the cream on top.

But against what sort of opposition..?
The standard of the game today was terrible..
Okay - you can only beat who's put in front of you, but can you really say that Centrals dominance over the last decade can compare to Sturt's in the 60s, or Port's in the 50s, 80s and 90s?
