The Gowans are always good value to read/ listen to. The competition will be poorer when they're gone and certainly less colourful.

'REB' give it a rest ...... we love to hate the both of them, but if they weren't as great as they both are, then none of us would care.

And we have a few blokes, currently and over the years who were far from angels once crossing the white line, and we love and have loved them as much as Central people love the twins.

And, I 'absolutely' hated the both of them until I met them, I'll only hate them for 3 hours on Sunday.

Both Chris and James Gowans will be irreplaceable once they retire!

They've certainly proved themselves to be amongs the best we've seen in the comp since the Crows joined the AFL. In fact I think in the 80s and early 90s (and maybe again now) when the speed of a player wasn't the first thing AFL recruiters looked at they'd have turned into very handy footballers at the top level. But they've given us colour and a lot of promotion for the comp as a whole and will be missed when the time comes. What they've given to the CDFC though we will never repay.
