Clubs get active already for 2012

Some clubs already very active for next season. South have signed one tall CHF from the NEAFL (Qld/NT). Looks a good size but can he play? I guess we must think so. Hope he's not like the ruckman we signed from the WAFL two years back who didn't realise he still had a year to go on his contract.

Ben Warren has at this stage committed to doing a preseason (I for one will be surprised if he does it) with his new team mate Andrew McIntyre for Sturt. Sturt and North certainly like to swap players.

The Ben Warren rumour and Sturt was around last year , can't see that happening .No thanks on McIntyre.

Sturt have been active for a while I hear but not certain of any signings.

His name escapes me for now, yet my mail is the captain of the West Adelaide Reserves has 2-3 opposition SANFL clubs looking for his signature for next season.

We have been busy, We will have a 6 foot 4 CHF & a hard-running wingman/half forward flanker, both with booming kicks & both ex-AFL.

Unfortunately Bomber is a good depth player but just isn't good enough to play regular league football. Hope he can make it though because he is a fantastic bloke. Reckon he might head back to the amateurs if he doesn't stay with us.

Have heard that he will stay up there as player welfare manager or something like that. Similar to what Hayden Skipworth did at Essendon.

Will be interesting to see if many (or indeed any) of those moving to Gold Coast and GWS come to the SANFL. Been a lot of talk about losing players over the next coupld of years, the reverse is once those lists get reduced there will be more than the usual number of blokes coming out of the AFL system.

Is he still at north or delisted? If he is still at the club, is he playing league?

What are Sturt supporters views on Ben Warren if you can land him?
