How Do Central Keep Winning With Only Half Of Their 1st 21 ?

Postby Apachebulldog » Sun Jul 17, 2011 11:23 am

Whats the answer week in week out there are at least 9 players out with broken legs, shoulders ,knees groins etc etc and Central keep winning players missing fron the first 21 that beat West yesterday are listed below so therefore i reckon Central are really vulnerable and we could have another team winning the flag ie Norwood.
What do ya all think ???

Alan Obst Knee
James Boyd AC Joint
Scott Dutschke Broken Tibia
Justin Hardy Fractured Tibia
Andrew Hayes Groin
Jay Nash ACL Knee
Charles Slattery Strained Neck Muscle
James Gowans ??
Paul Thomas ??
SANFL 2000 - 2011 Central District 12 consecutive Grand Final appearances and 9 Premierships.

WOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOOFFFFFFFFFF.

An amazing club to continue winning with so many injuries this season

ALAN OBST
Of the magnificent 9 currently injured , I reckon the most irreplaceable one is Alan Obst
His ability to
take contested marks
his physical presence
massive long kicking
and goal kicking ability is a unique package

Some other players in the forward line cant quite do all the 4 skills mentioned

to answer the question

they work harder & for longer than every other team in the competition

they have belief

they all know what is required or they'll get the dcm

they do more 1% stuff than anyone else including unselfish acts

they nail crucial goals at an astonishing %

etc etc etc
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Mid 2000's I thought it was their players, but now am convinced they have their off field shit together. Annoying as he'll as it makes things boring to ann extent but the other clubs need to pull their heads out of thei r asses and do something

They keep finding great local talent and pick recruits selectively.

Looking fwd to the day they lose a 1st semi if they ever get to play in one.

Back to this post, most people probably thought this too, and the other clubs were waiting while Centrals just got on with winning.

Still think this year is far from over. Legs are still a big chance despite today. Wouldn't discount the Tigers as they may hit the finals in form rather than waiting as they have been the last few years.

The injuries are mounting. Have they ever been hit this badly before? Absolute credit that they're still clear on top of the table, but the other contenders have a real chance if they can get it together during finals. Usually Centrals best is good enough, but I'm not sure it would be now with the amount of injuries they have.

Because they have a fantastic coach , who implements a game plan that all players at the club understand and can execute.
If at first you don't succeed , then destroy all evidence that you tried in the first place
