Which SANFL players do you most enjoying watching play?

Was having a discussion among a number of SANFL fans about this one, and was going to use it as a Sportsbeat column, but thought I'd throw it open here instead.

Which SANFL players do you like watching play the most? Note - these are not necessarily the most highly skilled, the most talented (although obviously could meet both of those criteria), but the players that you find yourself watching more in a game and admiring the way they go about things. Could be the players who you think make the absolute most of themselves, their work ethic, the way they have worked back from adversity - or any other criteria

Personally, club by club:

Central District: Scott Dutschke, Andrew Hayes
Glenelg: Ty Allen, Brad Agnew
North Adelaide: James Allan, Henry White
Norwood: Brett Zorzi, Matt Suckling
Port: Zane Kirkwood, Josh Thurgood
South: Nick Liddle, Brent McLeod
Sturt: Tristan Gum, Jade Sheedy
West: Steven Morris, Ryan Ferguson
W/WT: James Rimington, Scott Lewis

Plenty of honorable mentions to a number of players, obviously, but would be interested to hear others on this one.

Central: Hayes, Gowans x 2, Spurr, Callinan
Glenelg: Allen, Cranston, Mules
North: Allan, Thring, Alleway, Connors (not that Ive seen much of him)
Port: Clayton, Milera, Thurgood, Summerton, Harder
South: Wundke, Thewlis
Sturt: Sheedy, Crane
West: Ferguson
WWT: Powell, Grocke, McKenzie, Lewis

1. No Norwood players as I enjoy watching all our lads equally
2. Only "enjoy" watching the above players when it's not against us

Centrals: Spurr, Dutschke, Thomas
Glenelg: Allen, Mules, Kirkby when on song
Port: Harder, Summerton
South: Wundke, Cockshell, Crabb, Murphy
Sturt: Sheedy, Gum
West: Webb
North: Don't seem to see enough of them
Norwood: Shenton, Georgiou, McGuiness, Terlich can do some amazing things and then some brain-fade stuff.

Agree JK, that it's hard to rate your team's players. Like watching them all for different reasons and what they contribute. Obviously Grocke, Lewis, Rowntree, Cica, Powell, McKenzie, Jarrad (good to watch but does frustrate me at times), are the main ones.

Also like watching players who try their guts out and develop into solid footballers or perhaps contribute even though they may not be the best or biggest names, such as Crabb, Murphy and Shenton. At the Eagles this would include blokes like Staple, Guifeddra, Geddes, Sutcliffe.

Sansbury because He takes the game on & backs himself to run through lines, very exciting when it comes off.

This is a difficult one to answer. I am too one-eyed to really answer it objectively.

Basically I enjoy watching all doggy players who play thair role in the "machine" as others have described it.

Even the new players we have added this year are amazing the way they step up and play at the level required.

And when players on the opposition play well against the doggies I find it annoying - it means somone on our team aren't doing their job well.

I have seen a few games where I am a neutral observer and therefore the following list is quite limited to those I have seen.

Eagles: McKenzie, Salter

Port: Harder

North: Alleway

South: Liddle Stribling

Norwood: their old ruckman (what's is name?)

Gleneleg: They make me laugh too much to remember names

Sturt: Giles (I know he's gone now but he was good)

West: yuck too negative

doggies4eva, I'm a bit surprised at your comment about West.

Did you see West the only time they've played Central this year?

They weren't negative then?

No Mate I didn't see that game. My comments are based on the games West have been on TV.
