Round 15 - Norwood v North @ Norwood - 2.10pm Sat 9/7/11

The Redlegs come off the bye this week, and they come up against a terribly inconsistent North Adelaide side that has been the big underachievers so far this season.

For the Roosters to be any chance their big forwards need to convert a very large percentage of their opportunities, however realistically I can't see them kicking a big enough score to topple a confident Norwood side. I'll tip Norwood by 7 goals.

A lot will depend on if Jimmy plays as to how close the chooks can get. The bye came at a good time with a few Redlegs getting over some niggles and with Gallagher and possibly Walker returning for the legs im thinking Norwood by 8 goals

The Bundy Girls were out and about last home match vs Sturt. Next year, we need them out for every home game and our crowds will increase even further! :D

The one I was referring to was a day game but it was very ordinary wet weather.
Got some photos of them somewhere.

That's right mate, a stadium so chocka block full of Cooper's products we had to rename it accordingly.
And it could all be yours too if you just sign on the dotted line. Even comes with 27 flags mate. (28 very soon ?)
Come on 'Wedgie', you know you really want to.

If Walker plays, how many appearances for Norwood would that be?
Seems like Bassett is moulding a stronger forward line this year, but Walker for finals would obviously be a major plus.
Also how many did Phillips play before playing in the AFL?

I think that would make 3 games...he played Rds 7 & 8 as well.

Unfortunately not lucky that way :D
They did a fair job promoting their product, dont drink the stuff normally but a few of us had to stop them each time they came past for a refill

Not sure how Flip's shoulder came up after game but id think he may find himself back at Norwood this week.
Tex to kick his usual bag against North and we can just ease the skipper back into action this week. Any news on Jimmy's injury? Legs by 60+ if he doesnt play

I assume Flip is Simon Phillips. He polled a vote on the ABC yesterday, so I would doubt that he would be playing for Norwood this week.

Last game was the first time Walker has ever kicked any goals at all against North - so his usual bag might be nil.

I agree though that if Jimmy doesn't play - Norwood by 60 plus, if Jimmy does play, Norwood by a lot less.

What about at the Parade in 2008 RIG?

Roosters seem to play their best footy every 2nd week and Norwood generally (with exceptions) dont play so great coming off the bye, wouldnt be surprised if this game was a bit closer than many expect

I'll stand corrected but I don't think so...pretty sure his first for us this season was Rd 7 the North game I got to watch him play, Rd 8 was the one that resulted in his appearance at the tribunal and I think he's been out with a knee problem since then.
