Round 15 - Sturt v Port @ Unley - 2.10pm Sat 9/7/11

The Double Blues had a good win in round 14 and they generally play well at Unley so I think they will start favourites in this clash which could decide Port's finals chances.

The Magpies form against the Panthers would have disappointed coach Tony Bamford, and he will be extra keen for a win, however I think Sturt at home can win a close encounter by 2 goals.

We are so up and down I don't know how the most optimistic or the most pessimistic of sturt supporters get any stability in their lives. Not sure where you fit in there CS.
I just hope for a good effort, some promise of our young 'uns and possibly a win.

The Sturt Historical Society are holding a Museum Day this Saturday July 9th in Jack's Bar, showcasing a mountain of previously unearthed memorabilia, some which has been in mothballs in private collections for years.
These blokes deserve a huge pat on the back for the outstanding effort they've put in searching and finding all of what will be on display...as well as other projects they've been working on.

A gold coin donation will get you in to peruse this fantastic collection.

i saw our last effort against port and while we showed patches it was a pathetic capitulation, would hate to see the similar ending.

I realise Sheeds has been around for a while, but putting him in the museum is rough.

For the fence sitting black kettles and pots out there, The Mighty Double Blues by 4 goals. Our young Baby Blues will have the leg speed to match Ports young speedsters.

'Pies are not happy with dropping last weeks game against South and for the first time in many years there is some expectation to win games no longer just hope.

So losing games hasn't made them unhappy recently?

Of course it did, but being realistic we knew winning some games was not going to happen.

Now there is some expectation that games can be won and more so should be won, like last week against the Panfers.
