7 touches, 4 tackles and a goal.

Didn't have much of an influence to be honest.

Very fitting in Indigenous Round that Eddie Sansbury kicked the winning goal for the Doggies.

Good to see Gilbert McAdam, Wilbur Wilson and Sonney Morey in the rooms post game as well.

Extremely pleased with the result today. Wasn't sure if we'd win or not given our record and our outs but the youngsters just keep proving themselves. That would have to be the most inexperienced backline we've had a for a while.

Both teams pretty unimpressive I thought. Centrals did just enough and I thought they always looked more dangerous than the eagles despite being behind for most of the match. The umpires definitely favoured the eagles today I thought.

I think questions need to start being asked about Godden. Whether it is the players ignoring his advice and doing their own thing or just a shite gameplan being implemented by the coach it is a massive concern. Rather than going long and direct and playing on we are far too slow going forward and chip it sideways and back. This forces us to attack from the pockets where it is difficult to score. He has also stacked the forward line with mid-sized players who are not capable of taking a pack mark or a mark on the lead. It really is no wonder that we can't kick more than 12 goals in a game. What this means is that any side that comes up against us has a definite shot of beating us no matter where they are on the ladder as it is only our defence that is keeping us in the competition. I remember last year when Godden got the job he promised a new and exciting style of game play and some big scores. Well the current cr@p he has implemented shows just how good Fuller was. We may well make the finals but are going to exit pretty quickly unless things improve.

Yeah often wondered about Goddens game plan, the Eagles seem to have a decent squad yet they play a very scrappy, negative game. They only average 75 points per game which is the lowest in the comp. Cant understand why they dont play a more attacking style

Just love that no matter what 21 players Lairdy put on the park they give 120%.

When i arrived at the ground and heard Thommo and Yves werent playing i didnt give us much hope considering our recent record their.

To get the win was brilliant and a great team effort, the breeze was alot stronger at ground level than the flags displayed, this made the skill levels abit ordinary. Obst 1/1 record as a captain lol.

Some intersting rumours about Menzel and why he didnt play in the under 18's carnival.

Questions will be asked if the Eagles couldnt beat us today..................

Heard today that Callinan has hammy injury and will miss 2-3. Only slight strain. Would think he would have to come back through the Dogs.

I wondered the same thing. I had to add up the goalkickers to confirm that the Bulldogs kicked 10 and the Eagles 9.

Also bad news for other SANFL clubs ex AFL listed Adam Varcoe was one of Central best in the reserves draw today.

He hasnt played in a long time and you would think will only get better another player to add to the Dogs league prospects.
