Round 12 - CD v Glenelg @ Elizabeth - 2.10pm Sat 18/6/11

The Bulldogs haven't been in great form over the past month despite only dropping 1 game. Glenelg need their impressive youngsters to step up and play 4 quarters to be any chance, but Centrals are a fairly safe bet, and I'd expect them to win by about 5 goals.

Sorry Dedja, We will win this one. It's just a question of who is fit enough to play! Chris Gowans is injured, Hayes is out too, probably have to bring Hynes in, as well as Luke Habel for another crack at it. The Dogs by 34 points.

Come on no excuses you beat them at the bay with 16 players so it should be a walk in the park this week plus the bays hate big grounds. Dogs by 40

Your just toying with everyone at moment. Cruising in 3rd gear, get everyone to write you off as too old and then kick into top gear around late August and power on in september.
Been hearing the same thing for 10 years, you guys cant fool me anymore :D

Yeah abit of joke isnt it, dont think there is any real need for the SANFL to program the fixtures like that.

For Central another week and no doubt another bunch of changes to the league side.

Chris Gowans will no doubt be an out this week, depending on how Ryan Williams pulls up* this week will determine whether he will play.

Also who knows what will happen with the likes of Symes, Gunston, Henderson and Callinan this week.

Good to see Habel go back to the reserves and dominate he should come straight in for Gowans, Matty Westoff played reserves last week but looked rusty so he will probably spend another week in the reserves.

Also Thurgood killed Riechart on the weekend!! I would really like to see Templeton given a chance, if i was a Kirkby or T.Grima i would be looking forward to the prospect of having Riechart lining up on me.

Meh. All reasonable Glenelg pundits drew a line through this fixture as soon as the draw was announced, and would still have done so regardless of the preceding week's fixtures. Bays without a chance no matter what. Might as well give them a 5 day break, it ain't going to change a thing.

Any truth to the rumour you're leading a "Hands Off Our SANFL" March from the Bay to Elizabeth ???

Oh Great One, you have become a mere mortal in the last 2 weeks ... I see the great winds of change approaching, in fact I see a miracle emerging.

The time for redemption is near ... a great Bays victory on enemy soil is imminent.

I predict the Bays by a Snout.

Is that a Shannon Snook - 7 pts :)

Seriously though, with the 5 days break it's going to be tough.

We only had 17 players in the 4th Qtr of Reserves last week, with already a few League 'outs' due to injury. Not sure if the injured guys will return with a short week to prove they're ready again, and on the bigger ground.
Will be a good test for the depth in our squad. But I'm not holding my breath for a win out there

no, a draw is considered to be a correct tip, you get rewarded with 1 point still.

I know that this is not related to this thread, but when I saw this headline on Yahoo news I couldn't let it go without posting it

AFL: Pies lose Dick for the season.

Priceless
