Round 12 - Sturt v West @ Unley - 2.10pm Sat 18/6/11

The Bloods were very impressive in their round 11 clash against North Adelaide, and they will now come up against a Double Blues side that fell at the last hurdle in their last start.

Sturt has shown they're capable of an upset, and they're always very competitive at Unley, however I think West will win this clash by about 3 goals.

Massive danger game here. Can only remember Westies losing by 100+ at this dump. When was the last time they won there?

If Unley is a dump, what does that make Richmond oval?

You're trying to imply Unley is a better footy ground than Richmond? When's the last time you were at Richmond?

I reckon Richmond has the best surface in the comp.

If he means surface then it's all good.

If anything was going to scare me off, it would be some of your supporters.

That was "scarred", not "scared".
Anyway, I'm surprised you found our supporters unattractive, especially given the 'subdued' lighting.

This game could be decided at the tribunal tonight and by AFL selection Thursday night.

We could miss any of Birss, N Caruso (definite), Cassisi (likely), Davenport, Lobbe (not in great form but Port need a back up to Brogan), Macreadie, Moran, Morris and Schmidt. Also Sam Ezard, Rankine and Blesing got injured in the reserves and may not play this week. Sturt could lose Tambling but are unlikely to lose Martin or Riley.

Need Brad Fisher and Webb back desperately but not alot of depth in the reserves at the moment. Maybe Hankin could come in and possibly Motlop  but thats about it. Not sure whats going on with Newton as I noticed he didn't play last week.

I think Marlon is where he should be - the ressies given his attitude and work rate. Despite West reserves getting pumped Sunday, there would be a dozen players more deserving than Motlop for a league game!

Ironically left Prospect because of playing in the ressies and lack of league chances (which was rubbish) but returned to Prospect in triumphant style on Sunday still in the ressies!

I'm a North supporter. I have plenty of mental scars.
