From a radio point of view.

West harder and quicker for most of the game and more effiecient inside attacking 50 although had a big height advantage. North's onballers didn't stand up today and we were too wasteful inside 50.

West too good and 30 to 17 scoring shots is a fair reflection of their pressure.

Oh, and LifeFM, thanks for the call today but please don't let Hayes near a mic again. I nearly nodded off twice when he was talking. :)

It was a cracker! Macreadie slotted Allen on the nose with a beauty and knocked him on his arse then it was on. Lots of smaller ones throughout the day.

Pretty smart thing to do when you are miles in front, hope he has a nice holiday, Collins ripped him straight off the ground so he knew what had happened

Doesn't sound like Macreadie. I obviously didn't see it (wasn't at the game) but Allan must have done something to cause him to react that way.

Another North player got belted late and Allan ran into remonstrate but McCreadie took the opportunity to belt him with a cheap shot. Will get a couple.

Anyhow - back to the game. West far too good, ran hard in space and never let North get any easy disposals all day. Best opponent we have faced to date this season.

Thank Christ for J. Allan - pretty much a one man band today in the middle.

Any update on Nat Caruso? Must have been bad for an Ambulance to get there that quickly. The other Caruso had a very good game btw as did Thompson - geez he is an impressive running defender.
Piss weak SANFL and the CLOWNS who run it.

Nat Caruso dislocated an ankle and was taken to hospital.

MacReadie was reported for striking Allan. Allan had just barrelled Morris with a bump from behind. I agree with otr that MacReadie will be suspended. Shane Birss and Delvins were also reported.

Great win to West and they could/should have won by more.

Dont know the tempermate of the guy, but hell nearly 8 goals up and to do something like that, why bother, from what OTR has posted who knows who said or did what, I give Andy Collins 10/10 for taking the lad off and obviously having a word in his ear, goes to show the mine set of the coaching panel at Westies this year which shows us all their improvement this season

Talking with a Westies trainer, said Nat Caruso definately had a dislocated ankle (probably also fractures) and would more than likely require an ankle reconstruction unfortunately. His strength around the contests will be missed greatly.

Big week at the selection table this week, with N Caruso out, Birss probably get 1 game, Macreadie (who knows 3+), didnt think Cassisi did enough, still looked like he needs another run, but Davenport may go up. On the flip side, Brad Fisher and Daniel Webb pulled out of today's line up.

Fair enough. Looks like we may have a few outs next week with Macreadie, N Caruso, Birss and Cassisi looking likely to miss. Hopefully Brad Fisher and Webb will be alright for next week.
