Round 11 - Cent Dist v Port @ Elizabeth - 2.10pm Sat 11/6/11

Postby GWW » Sun Jun 05, 2011 1:35 am

The Bulldogs will be hurting after their 1 point loss in round 10, and will be looking at finding some winning form against a Port side that would need massive games from their AFL contingent to be any chance of an upset. I think Centrals will win this one by about 11 goals.

We will win but it won't be easy. Now Andrew Hayes will be out with a groin strain, Central by about 25 points.

I expect a comfortable win. Roy will be keen to see a response from a bunch of senior players from last week. Not sure if anyone will be returning from injury, while Hayes will surely miss. Doubt it'll be a thrashing, the boys will just be keen for 2 points so will keep the game under control.

I wouldn't worry, being a Port supporter your car is probably not worth stealing.

However you can park it for free in the school across the road and hope for the best.

My 1995 Ford with slight panel damage is quite an attractive offer for a getaway vehicle thank you very much.....

Hmmm, interesting choice... walk home after the car is pinched or run the risk of being shanked on the train for my Nike's.....

Free parking - with security guard in attendance for the whole game - just before you get to the Bowls club. (Arriving from the Southern end of Goodman Rd.) The old excuse of not risking the car has been struck off the list ;)

OTOH, you might still lose the car in that park, insofar as it may become irretrievably bogged in the mud... ;)

Central Vs Port clashes provide so many stereotypical comments.
It's just a matter of time before all the good lines are stolen.

ian Callinan will be released by the crows this week to play his first game for Centrals, given he would be AFL fit he would walk back in to the 1s wouldnt he?

With the amount of injuries Central have got at the moment, it is possible he might play a half at league level perhaps. It will be the 'match fitness' he'll be lacking so the Crows might instruct to have him play a ressies game first, who knows?

Our cars don't have hubcaps! They're all up on blocks in our front yards. We only steal when we're playing the fancy clubs.
