Obst to face the tribunal I would think. Same thing as Alex Grima's incident.

Wow, just holding on after a decent 3/4 time lead :D
Good result with Campbell and Gallagher missing.

interesting game to watch
when either side had the momentum especially norwood i was expecting them to kick away more then they did as they seemed to be better when they went forward.
norwoods last quarter really wasnt that impressive, but they did enough to win.

Norwood did do well to hang on for the win, the Dogs were charging !!!

Norwood had players missing today like Bryce Campbell, Jesse Aish, Nick Ramsey, Gavin Hughes, Will Young and James Gallagher that would be in their best 21 perhaps.

While Central were missing the likes of Scott Dutschke, James Gowans, Jay Nash, Brayden O’Hara, James Boyd and Justin Hardy who didn't play today.

I think the Dogs missed Symes and Gunston today, not that they, or Norwood for that matter, rely on AFL players. They are a bonus of course.

Both sides have a few injuries to key players don't they?

What is it with close games at Norwood Oval? I couldn't go, what was the game like?

Did you watch it on the box Gazza?

Central played good footy in patches, Norwood played good footy in patches also.

The Dogs had a barnstorming finish but the Legs hung on by the smallest of margins.

Poor kicking for goal, from both sides, was one of the main elements of the game today.

It was a grind. Both teams had their moments. Centrals started like a million dollars but didn't put it on the scoreboard. Then Norwood controlled the game in the second quarter and again didn't captilise on it. Centrals had their chances in the last quarter. You could see the Norwood players starting to doubt themselves.

All in all pretty happy with the result. We made a 1 point improvement on last years corresponding game. We must be improving. ;)

I thought David Haydon, number 54, was pretty impressive for the Dogs in his League debut to finish the game with 18 disposals, 5 tackles and 3 inside 50's.

I am also more and more impressed with young Leg Ben Jefferies, he shows maturity and poise beyond his 8 league games played.

Gutsy win!! So pumped after that!!

Thought the crowd was a bit disappointing. Probably about 4k, should've been 6 at least.

Yes.

And Chris Gowans whenever in posession of the footy !!!

A Norwood supporter up in the back of the stands today had a bit of a verbal stoush with James Gowans as well !!!

Please don't let this turn into a thread about who was missing from which team. Done to death in the preview thread.

Norwood would of been unlucky to loose in the end. Played better footy for longer periods. Should be a good GF when these 2 meet in the last game of the year.

Central had to lose at the Parade sometime! Norwood had a pretty high spread of goalkickers, not sure if thats a plus or a negative though.

Was very impressed with Sam Rowe's work in the ruck today, thought he was without doubt the best big man on the ground.

Gave Jason Sutherland (I called him Buckets on a LifeFM cross  ) and Jack Hannath a lesson today in body position and work rate.

Was a fantastic game of football! Both sides had their moments of brilliance and dominance, was very much like the GF again.

I think Centrals wasted opportunities in the first qtr and should have been much further up at 1/4 time. Norwood came out (as they did in the GF) in the second and stepped it up, but this time, carried on with it in the third, to drop off in the last qtr.

Centrals never say die attitude was prevalent in the last 15 minutes.

Reckon there will be some very sore bodies tonight from both teams, glad we have a 9 day break before the Glenelg game.

I'm sure it has happened before, might be one for Spelly, but I can't remember a game where it was individual goal kickers for both sides, with no multiple goal scorers in the game at all.

7 goals for each team and 14 individual goal kickers. Wouldn't happen too often I would think?
