I dont think Norwood were insipid today (and trust me I'll stick it to my mob when they roll belly up) .. We werent good thats for sure, but I thought our endeavour was reasonable - Skills were another matter though ...

Agree, dont think todays game is a wothy nominee.

Eagles vs Sturt certainaly was one of the worst games i've seen for a while but that would take away from how well Sturt played that night, towelled us all over the ground think we only had one player who could say he won his position.
Trust the process.

No doubt the Logie for the most inspiring, couragous and amazing performance has to go to the Doggies at Glenelg today?

Perhaps then with that being said, the answer to your question in this thread would probably be directed towards the Tigers.

No argument from me.

Eagles against Sturt were much much worse than Norwood today.

A common denominator for three of those performances: the team was coming off the bye.

Central v West
Eagles v Sturt
Glenelg v Central

The only team that has performed well after the bye was West and technically they did not have the bye, playing Ainslie instead.
Not sure why, but the bye is causing havoc this year!

Based on that, my 'winner' would have to be Sturt in their match versus Norwood - the only insipid performance not related to having the bye the week before.

Cheers

I nominate Port for being the only team beaten by North in 2011, memories of 2003?

To win a Logie, you've got to be on TV. So...any of those games on the ABC?

And I'm happy to accept "coming off the bye" as an excuse for yesterday's impression of training cones, thankyou BDP :D

The fact that Ernie Sigley (remember him? ) has over a dozen Logies speaks for itself

Being a Norwood supporter, I hate to say it, but 70 mins without a goal.......

Speaking of a TV game, South's first quarter v Centrals was as meek and pathetic as it gets.

With all due respect to South, they stink and are well known for it. Each of the other teams have flirted with the line that separates contenders & pretenders at some point this year (or decade).

Seriously though, happy to accept the nomination.
