Just a quick one, do the teams playing in the ANZAC Day game (GF Replay) have special ANZAC day guernseys like Coll and Ess do?

Yep would be a good revenue raiser for the clubs involved. Are you listening CDFC? :)

As Centrals are the home team, does that mean they will wear the Turkish style guernseys and Norwood, being the away team, will wear the ANZAC style guernsesy? After all, the ANZAC tradition was fought on Turkish soil.

I think the ANZAC day match starts too late, if We want to attract the old diggers & their friends & family, the starting time needs to be brought forward.

yeah, and the coin toss should be done with two coins, with an accompanying yell of "Come In Spinner".

Can't move the start time. Reserves game can't start before midday.

Centurion, Reserves usually start at 11.35am. On ANZAC day the Reserves will start at 12.10pm (check last year's ANZAC weekend budget).

That means the Ressies are only 35 mins later. Why is that too much of an inconvenience for you?

During finals the late game starts at 3.10pm, same time the league game will start on ANZAC day. With all the finals the Doggies have played in the last decade, surely you're accustomed to 3.10pm starts?

why not? 10,000 people yelling it out would be GREAT!

If the Ressies were played at a different location or day, what would the situation be for the league game? Standing on its own at an earlier time (than 3.10pm)?

If the ressies were to play after the League, how many people would stay and watch?

And the main event is? The League game, let's face it, not many people go to watch the ressies. I just think it would be cool for all the older people who go to The march & afterwards could go straight to the footy.

The older people in the march (and the older people who watch the march) probably appreciate the Ressies more than the modern generation.

BUT they would still want to watch the main game.

So they watch the Ressies and the Main game. They're happy :D but for some unknown reason Centurion isn't :(

If its not an inconvenience for you Centurion, why harp (dwell on continuously) so much about the wait for the the main game

listen, again....or should I say read closely, every year I watch all the people who go to the March, then afterward they go home, the game starts MUCH later, if the MAIN game started sooner, MAYBE they might stay & we MIGHT get more people to the game, sorry for trying to promote the game, your mob included. I personally don't give a stuff, I am not 80 and tired at 4pm. get it??????????????????

When Glenelg played Centrals, the curtain raiser was a match between the Army and Navy. I thought it was a good idea as may at least be a little interest to some ex serviceman/women who ventured over to Adelaide Oval from the march.
I hear this year the Forces Challenge is being played before the Port V GC Suns match at Footy Pk on Easter Saturday. I wouldn't expect more than 150 people there to watch seeing as they have to be off the oval an hour or so before the AFL game starts.
