He stopped short of really saying it though, but SANFL is in a massively conflicted position - it has been since 1990, but the issues are now starting to come to light...
Seriously, the best thing for footy in SA would be if the SANFL decided not to renew the Power licence. One profitable franchise vs one break even and one making a loss is a better return for the SANFL clubs - plus a game only every second week and the crowds would soon return.
And who knows, maybe the pissed-off Power fans who were once actually Magpies supporters might return to the SANFL.
It makes sense...
