We blew our chances in the last qtr when we had the ball in our forward 50 for alot of the quarter but were unable to get a mark. The amse story as the last few years when the game is in the balance our decision making and skill errors let us down.

The whole concept of a curtain-raiser bringing Swampies together was a complete disaster. I believe there were more Norwood supporters at the start of the match. If the magpies have 4,500 members - where were they???

Over in KL at moment and was trying to get scores all day. Sounds like a real hard fought game, what was the standard like? Just scrappy or tight?

Apart from one post from JAS with the scores the rest of this thread is just a Port bash, it references the AFL more than the game in question and is infested with trolls.

Lift your game safooty.net. I logged in to see if my assessment of Port's efforts were shared by others, but not one mention of the match.

I don't support the Power Spelly - I left footy park after the SANFL, but all this one club, two losses stuff is poor form from the posters on this thread. This is a post-match review thread. If they want to slam One Club, then by all means - in fact I welcome it and encourage it even... but don't do it on this thread. I was planning on visiting the site each week to read the post-match reviews of our games, but not if I have to read that mindless drivel.

I certainly understand where you are coming from, but we will cop the same amount of trash tomorrow if/when we lose, too! And nothing will be done about that because it's perceived to be "banter". I myself try to distance from that crap because I just want to go to the match, support my team and that's it.

Scrappy game. Even at the 15 min mark of last qtr, I didn't like our chances. Was great to get the win, with 15,000 yelling for port and prob 1500 for norwood it made it even sweeter!
