The "Premiership Clock" theory only applys to the AFL, and usually is taking into account draft picks (priority picks) and salary cap pressures. Looks like the journalist has looked at the betting market, and place a time according to the teams price.

P.s. I thought clocks has 24 hours.

Yes but if I was rating the sides, I would put Centrals at 12:01am.

North would be 2 minutes to midnight.

They expect to finish ahead of South, North, West and Sturt.

And the other 8 teams expect to finish ahead of Port.
