Good to see plenty of Magpie fans taking up memberships again to follow on from last year.

Magpies currently at 4158.

There great numbers but is it different now with the merger or can you still have a stand alone membership ?

The other way to look at it though is you are down 3000 ish ?

This year you can do either.

I.e. take out the OnePAFC extansion to your PAFC membership, or stand alone with the PAMFC.

From next year onwards, I think Option 1 will be the only one....

This may have been discussed before but how will that work then . You wont be able to establish how many Magpie members there are I suppose ?

As mentioned, you can be Magpie stand alone if you wish.

Most clubs would be happy with 4000 at any time of the year, let alone in March.

So if the magpies get less than they did last year we can only assume the merger was a failure for them? ;)

Seriously though, great figure for this time of year.

North's current total is 1607 according to their website.

I'd say a lot of non Port people signed on last year to try and help the club

Oh Booney you stirrer you ;)

Actually AFL Port's website quotes their membership number, then has the number of members who have nominated to include Magpies Membership quoted to give you the seperate number

(I'm embarrased to say I looked at their website, but it was the only place I could find the promo ad currently running to get crowds back to live footy action at Footy Park)
