I've chosen East Perth for the same reason.

NORTH ROOSTERS will win ... just a case of which one
It won't be Morningside, Labrador, East Coast Eagles, Ainslie, Clarence or NT Thunder as they do not come from strong enough leagues to win 4 games at this level.
Then there is Greater Western Sydney who have talent and youth but minimal experience THIS YEAR so I would put them as a won't win as well.
That leaves 9 clubs .. the 3 reps from the SANFL, VFL and WAFL.
Frankly how these 9 clubs fare can't be judged on 2010 form
They will be different teams and may not even be top 21 rostered, a lot will depend on how each club approaches the series relative to its state league commitments.
Toughest of the 1st round appear to be
- East Perth v North Ballarat (North are are better side but long road trip)
- Swam Districts v Williamstown (No Krakouer to kick the winner this year for the Swans but its in Perth_)
- Northern Bullants v GWS (GWS are the ??? of the competition)
Looking at potential quarterfinals
1-4 - North Ballarat d Morningside
5-8 - Swan Districts d West Adelaide
9-12 - Northern Bullants d Claremont (If in Perth result may be reversed)
13-16 - North Adelaide d Port Adelaide
Semi Finals
- North Ballarat (VFL champ) d Swan Dist (WAFL Champ) ... should have been seeded so this is the final
- North Adelaide d Northern Bullants
Final
- If they can get past these two tough games
- East Perth in Perth
- WAFL Premier Swan Districts at ???
North Ballarat Roosters would come into the game with better form and be my tip.

North Ballarat for me, been great in recent years and have some good pickups, they seem to have got the good end of the deal out of Nth Melbournes two affiliates.

Umm, what's the Foxtel Cup? I seriously have never heard of it.
Why is the SANFL represented by North, Port and West? On this thread it says that the WAFL champ and VFL champ are competing, so why aren't the SANFL champs competing?

Those not competing think it will harm their premiership chances.
Plus other minor factors.
The supporters of those teams think North, west and Port aren't interested in winning then premiership.
Supporters of the competing teams think it's great and think the non-competing teams are a bunch of weak, precious, prima-donnas.
So do I
