Hello Everybody

Well I think I must have finally ‘lost it’ but I have agreed to take part in a 135km cycle ride in order to raise much needed funds for Sturt FC's charity partner The Childhood Cancer Association. I've joined the 'Sturt for Childhood Cancer' team in the 2011 Mutual Community Challenge Tour. We are trying to raise $100,000 between us! The ride is next Friday, that is the 21st.

I know that Christmas/New Year can be a financially 'strained' time of year and that however much money you do (or don't) have it is never enough but I'm asking for a donation anyway. If I did not for such a worthy cause I would be remiss. If you can help please do.

Donations can be made through the secure web site which can be accessed here http://www.childhoodcancer.asn.au/events?event_id=30&action=show_donations. Find my name (Peter Hall) and click on it, you will then be prompted through a very simple process. If you would prefer to donate via another team member simply click their name instead.

A tax deductable receipt will be automatically generated and sent directly to your e-mail address, what could be simpler?

If you are not comfortable with making on line financial transactions or have any trouble with the process please PM me and I will provide a manual donation form.

Well its done (and so am I). A great day and a great ride. Well done to everybody who took part.

Well done Pete. I donated via a mate who also rode today, but terrific cause and terrific effort.

Childhood cancer is just about the only thing that reduces me to water, any opportunity to assist is grabbed with both hands. I dips me lid to thee.
