Think the club is planning to have it as a night match, but is waiting to make sure the lights project is up and running without any problems before announcing it.

I'm assuming this is the 'Annual Phil Squared Membership Challenge Match' Mr Herden? ;)

I assume this match will be played at either Norwood or Max Basheer Reserve or maybe even the country as Unley Oval will still have cricket on it.

Probably Cornerstone College, Mt Barker.

I would think they would play a few trial games at Mt Barker.

Probably not as the game mentioned above is the only Sturt "home" trial.

When does the Baseball Season finish? as Norwood may not be available for early trial games depending on the finish of the Baseball season with Adelaide Bite.

Adelaide's last scheduled home game (against the Brisbane Bandits) will be on Saturday the 22nd of January...

http://web.theabl.com.au/documents/2010 ... hedule.pdf

My understanding is that finals system will be 1v2 and 3v4 with top 2 teams getting the double chance and therefore the right to at least 1 home final. So based on this, there is a possibility that if the Bite finish in the top 2 (currently sitting in 2nd spot) they could either host a home final the following week (1st weekend in February - if they finish top) or a home preliminary final if they finish 2nd and lose the 1st final away.

They could possibly host the 'Grand Final' series at home as well, if that would, at the latest, make the final game to be played at Coopers the 2nd weekend in February which would then give the groundskeepers a couple to three weeks to get the oval back up for footy again.

only takes about 3 weeks for instant turf to take hold so it should be ok one would think.....

Come and grab a coldie from my eski! I'll be the one with a camera in one hand and my 4 month old in the other. My beer (sorry, Chardonnay) will need to be drank from a very long straw ;)

Why would the Glenelg v Eagles be at Elizabeth? how about Thebby or Norwood.
