I might be on a completley wrong track here but as a younger guy did Travis dodd (adelaide United) ever play for centrals?
Be much appreciated if someone can help me out on this one....

There was a Travis Dodd (but not the Adelaide United Travis Dodd) that did play some underage footy with Centrals back in the mid 90's...

I actually played Samboy Cup (Under 15's) with the non Adelaide United Travis Dodd at Central so that seems to be who you are thinking of Bec...

What year did you play Samboy Cup for Centrals? I played for the Dogs in 92 I think it was. I reckon I remember a Travis Dodd playing while I was there. Went over to Melbourne to play Moorabbin Saints that year aswell I think.

Don't think it was that early, I think it was possibly 94 or 95...

I have an old Central Annual Report with a photo of the Central Underage squad that has Travis in it...

Last time I saw you BP you looked like you'd eaten the Samboy Cup

He does support Centrals though.

Played his junior soccer in Elizabeth so that would suggest he grew up there

The soccer player went to Salisbury East High didn't he?

I remember articles about him in the Northern Messenger early on when he was a junior, don't recall them mentioning football. Could be wrong though.

Dodd definatly never played football with Dogs but was often seen on match days in the sports bar with Ryan Harris, Mark Cosgrove and Graheme Manou.

Are you as sure with this as you were that Buckets Mackenzie never played in a Reserves Premiership for the Dogs?

It is a different Dodd, I just checked the old Annual Report and there was a Travis Dodd that played underage but it's NOT the Adelaide United Travis Dodd...

I believe you as I didn't recall the United player playing footy, although he follows the Dogs..

But....it's hardly case closed. You've read a report. Was his photo there?

Couldn't find the photo yet, might actually be in the team photo my old lady has in a scrap book somewhere, not sure?

Anyway, I have been able to find out that the Adelaide United Travis Dodd DID in fact play for Central Districts...

Baseball Club that is...

A mate of mine played baseball at Central with his old man and he said Travis played juniors (baseball) out there...

The Adelaide United Travis Dodd went to Salisbury Park Primary and Salisbury East High, if that helps.

Would've been a year behind Adam Switala I'm guessing.

Old man Garth Dodd used to play with Pooraka during the Danny Harrington era (around the same time Bradley and Dwayne Russell were coming throught the Juniors) very skillful player

Was down at United Friday night and it came up in conversation. I put a carton on it that he had. Can i get away with a technicality that a Travis Dodd played for Centrals?

Think you probably got mixed up with Fred Agius who has played for United and CDFC ressies
