[CENTURION]

We settle down with can of beer
Our beanies pulled down to Our ears
While butterflies form losing fears
Will this one be Our day?

The years before were just unkind
With losing always on Our mind
Our faces now are trouble-lined
Where does Our fate now lay?

All year Our men have battled on
The thought of failure never gone
It's time for Us to sing Our song
On this momentous day

The years of struggle We forget
When doom and sadness always met
Derisive jeers would make Us fret
Let's cast these things away!

We can't afford to lose again
There's no-one left for Us to blame
We must pursue Our quest for fame
So let Us hope and pray

Red White and Blue MUST reign supreme
We have the form, We have the team
Let prior failures be redeemed
On this Grand Final Day!

And thus it was, those years ago
When, overcoming all their foes
The Bulldogs ceased their tale of woe
And blew Their blues away

A Dynasty had now begun
Eight out of ten They played and won
A record standing second to none!
What more can I now say?

Except that, now the worm had turned
Respect of all clubs They have earned
Let's hope the lessons They have learned
Will point them on their way

To etching in the Hall of Fame
The Central District football name
A champion Club which now can claim
A record which WILL STAY!!!!!!!!
