The Redlegs are always tough at home, and i think they'll start fairly strong favourites in this clash against an inconsistent Bloods side.
I'll tip Norwood to win by 4 goals.

When these two sides met at Norwood earlier in the season, it was possibly the most boring match I've seen in many a long day. This promises to be just as bad. Norwood are totally out of form so West have a real show. I can hardly wait

Norwood should win comfortably but the way this season has gone, anything can happen.

the standard between yesterdays south v west match & todays glenelg v norwood match were poles apart in skill, intensity & work rate etc etc, norwood will win easily despite both teams flooding each other

also like central norwood will not want to go into the final series with 3 losses in a row.....as i said norwood easily

Then again, if you were confident about winning next week, you'd be saying go West! A very intriguing situation, unique to a final five battle.

Shattered about Sturt finally getting their shit together late in the year. All the bloods can do is go their hardest in this a get a win, then pray! We tend to match up well with the Legs too! Won comfortably early in the year at Richmond and lost by a kick at the Parade. Lobbe in this time will hopefully reverse that!

We could do with a flamin win here! We could be out in two weeks which would be a pretty ordinary end to a promising season.

Weeeeeell they have beaten Centrals then lost to Port....twice....
But if West win by heaps and the Blues do as well, is the double chance out of the question?

Warren Partland said on radio this morning that Salter and Broadbent wont be playing finals for the Eagles?

You just make sure the Eagles win first before worring about the Bloods winning.

If that's true - then it stinks & any wonder no-one supports them.
Broadbent & Salter were playing for us BEFORE they began getting a regular spot in the PAPs.
We have continually provided oportunities for players who return to the SANFL.
If this is how we (& any other clubs for that matter) are treated then I for 1, want players to be put in the RESERVES from next year onwards.
Why should the balance of the League side be messed up throughout the year by players going in & out of both teams (AFL & SANFL) if their is NO BENEFIT to the SANFL team (i.e. Finals qualification) - bugger Port Power & the Crows if that is there stance - players can play in the 2s.

With respect LEH, that argument's been had a squillion times over .. At the end of the day any club or supporter relying on these players returning have set themselves up for a giant fall, as they are not your players anymore.

I accept that... they are NOT our players.
My point is;
For our OWN benefit (rather than their AFL Club's) WE need to play them in the Reserves.
Otherwise, this is likely to continue to be a problem.
Example:
We dropped players out of our League side (when we were going well, mid-year) to accomodate Broadbent coming back into the Eagles team after going 'up' one week, back to us the next.
That UNSETTLED our team (particularly those players who got dropped).
I can see why Neil Craig himself played guys like 'Rocket Maynard' in the Norwood 2s, when he was coach of Norwood
