Round 23 - Central Dist v Glenelg @ Eliz 2:10pm Sat 4th Sept

Postby GWW » Sun Aug 29, 2010 9:17 pm

The Bulldogs will be hoping to snap out of their poor form but they come up against an in form Glenelg side this week.

The home ground advantage could be Central's saviour, I'll tip them by 2 goals.

Can't we wait 24 hrs before starrting teh next round threads. I eman FFS we haven't even got the ladders yet, I thought that was the forum policy before discussing the next games. I'm too busy reading the Sturt v Centrals review and bays v Norwood.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Can the Centrals dancing girls possibly present us with a routine that is more expressive, more artistic and more technically competent that the "Michael Jackson Memorial" routine they delivered last time? Frankly I doubt it can be topped, but I am looking forward to finding out. All the better if I can do so with a mouthful of Gummi Bears.

What, there's a game as well?

all of a sudden it is a more important game for central than it is for glenelg...why ?? because i'm sure central wouldn't want to run into a final series with 3 losses in a row (when was the last time that happened ?), i'd expect central to come out 'breathing fire' & trying to sustain the so called mental edge they have over us & i'd expect us to absorb it & learn from their previous mistakes & this week lay 4 full quarters because if we lapse central will makes us pay......a month ago i though no hope out there after today i think we have an even money chance...history says central i'll say bays by a point
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

Fair call bayman.

The Bays are on a huge winning streak and Central has lost 2 in a row. So who is the underdog?
Steve Bradbury and Michael Milton. Aussie Legends.

It's not so Black and White ... Dangerous to think so.

Remember The Time when the Bays last won at Elizabeth?

I just hope a Smooth Criminal doesn't steal my car while I'm at the game.

The Bays needs plenty of goals to win this one ... Don't Stop 'til You Get Enough.

While I think Central are a chance, I think the Bays will do the business come finals time. Unlike the last two years where there's been heaps of hype around the Tigers, this year they've quietly gone about their business.

Tigers will win it when it counts and get that 5th flag I reckon...

hopefully bays will cause the upset of the year but the odds will be against them. When was the last time that the doggies lost 3 in a row ?
