Round 23 - **** the AFL Round

With 3 of the 4 SANFL games determining the make-up of the final 5, and with the two SA-based teams out of the AFL running, lets hope the SANFL promotes the hell out of next weekend's round.

With the Saturday arvo AFL game being the game in Perth the care factor will be appreciably low, so the is NO EXCUSE for all 4 SANFL games not to be on Saturday afternoon.

Viva la SANFL!

Absolutely the time for the SANFL to maximise crowds and have all next week's games on Saturday with all finals on Saturdays (Prelim on Fri night) if they had any brains and wanted to maximise attendances.

Won't matter what day it's on if the weather forecast holds and stays true.

Hard to make an accurate prediction this far out.

"If they had any brains" ... the magic words. Unfortunately the SANFL's infatuation with Sunday footy will mean nothing will change.

What are you suggesting Spelly? If it rains Sunday we'll play Saturday instead? :D

Who would have thought the Bays could finish 2 wins ahead of the Dogs a few weeks back?

Oh yeah, it's not 100% likely so far out, but if it does...

Would love to see Sat finals and Fri night prelim myself, but for the final round you think they'd spread games across the weekend in order to maximise attendance, in the hopes of getting a few punters to turn up at several games. Having said that I'm glad my mob drew the Saturday slot next week.

If you want to wager that the Bays will finish 2 games clear of Central then I'll let you write your own odds.... ;)
