Round 22 - Glenelg v Norwood @ Gliderol 2:10pm Sun 29th Aug

Postby GWW » Sun Aug 22, 2010 10:23 pm

The Redlegs will be a little disapointed with their effort against the Blues in round 21, and will be desperate to notch up a win against Glenelg. The Bays will have gained confidence from their recent form, and at home, i think they can win a close one by about 10 points.

after a tight first half tussle i expect glenelg to run away with the game & win over a tiring norwood & win by 5 or 6 goals

squark, i think last fridays two matches will be detrimental to those 3 sides that play this week as they were very very physical because of the conditions

if it is fine why wouldn't 2 quality outfits get a minimum of 8,000 ? or was that 12,000 at the glenelg v sturt match just a fluke a couple of seasons ago ?

There should be a good crowd but the Crows will have a big "Farewell" game for all and sundry on the Saturday which may affect SANFL crowds. I really hope it is a fine balmy day and a good game of footy!

Are the Bays doing any special promos for their last home match in 2010?

That's an understatement. Another effort like the one we dished up the other night and Glenelg will smash us. Not that the endeavour was poor, it was the decision making process that was sadly lacking. Norwood's best will be competitive but Glenelg are in much better form than us at the moment.

Looking forward to this game should be a cracker.
Will be a good indication of were Norwood stand in the premiership race.
Good to see Schulz back in the team.

Bringing the 11mth old son along as he is 2 wins for 2 appearances this year.

Probably the biggest game for Norwood in a long long time.

Time to stand up! Resilience has been there for most of the year, this is massive!

Norwood by a goal.

Go you Redlegs!!

Quiet in this thread. I thought this game might have generated a bit more discussion? Anyway I'm picking Glenelg by 20-30 and a crowd of 5000 - 6000.

I'm too nervous to post.

I've got a real uneasy feeling about this game.
