Round 22 - Panthers v West @ Hickinbotham 2:10pm 28th Aug

Postby GWW » Sun Aug 22, 2010 10:22 pm

The Panthers will want to finish their season off on a bright note with a win against the Bloods, but may struggle for motivation given that they can't move off the bottom of the ladder.

West will be hoping for fine weather after the poor conditions they played in last Friday. The Panthers are capable of an upset at home, but i think the more likely result is a West Adelaide win by around 3 goals.

i think if south are close enough at 'lemon time' they might be able to run over a leg weary west, even though west have everything to play for, i can see them being very tired after a physical game (because of the conditions) last friday even though it is a 8 day break
i thought secret groups were a thing of the past, well not on websites anyway

One thing South have done in the past is ruined the chances of sides wanting to slip into the five at the end of the season. If Westies arrive thinking its in the bag before the siren starts they might well go the same way. - Think Andy Collins well have Westies well and truly fired up after this weekend though!

By the way we have been scoring lately South would have to not trouble the scorers

If West can't beat South then they're a joke.

South are a rabble. Worse football side I've seen this year.

Interesting to see Bennett moved up the ground a bit for Westies.
Hopefully the big fella puts in a blinder.
