I think so... we've been soooooooooooooo crap this season that not even Chambo has been able to overcome his own team's idiocy.

It's because the 4-5 x 100 point wins against West and South didn't come our way this year!

Only 1 to Grima today so Chambers just needs 12 tomorrow.

Spelly, I think you must be taking those figures off the (incorrect) SANFL site. Bradshaw kicked 97 goals in 2003. It can't be that they're not including goals kicked in the major round, as Davies total (for example) certainly includes his major round goals. The WAFC site shows 97, the Grand Final budget (IIRC) shows he was on 94 at the start of that game and he kicked 3 in it.

Pretty sure the Ken Farmer medal is only for the minor round though so that would explain the difference.

What RM said. Those are the minor round goals required to win the medal. Interesting that no-one has been able to overtake the Ken Farmer Medal in the finals, only Chris Kluzek equalled Adam Richardson in 2000.

Even in the AFL with the Coleman the last time I can remember the winner being overtaken in the Finals was 93, I don't think Geelong made the Finals while Adelaide did so Modra ended up with the most goals while Ablett took home the medal.

Happened in 2005 as well. Barry Hall overtook Gehrig despite St.Kilda playing in the finals. Gehrig won the Coleman with 74 but only kicked 4 more goals in the finals, Hall 72 plus 8 in the finals.

11, strictly speaking... they could share it.
And if Chambo dobs 11 tomorrow and the conditions are anything like they were today, then he'll be thoroughly deserving of the gong.

Ok, thanks, that explains your list. But the SANFL site shows 88 as Bradshaw's total for the year as leading goalkicker, which is incorrect and inconsistent, given they include major round goals in previous winners' tallys.
