Sturt to beat Norwood by a point after Chambo gets another charity decision a nanosecond before the siren sounds.... ;)
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

Would be only fair payback for 1984. Will Des Foster be umpiring?

Might as well as add North into the equation then too if you're talking about surprises on that scale.

yes correct wedgie ... technically possible so should be included.

Accepted the possibility for each individually is low BUT group them as other and its a reasonable percentage.

According to the 2010 SANFL Season Guide ....
of the past 36 Elim Final winners, 11 have played in a grand final
thats 30%

For there to be a Glenelg Norwood GF then the dogs will either have to lose 2 of their next 3 matches and finish 2nd or go out of the finals in straight sets.
We used to be good :-(

Consider in that calculation, that this has not occurred in the last ten years.
We have not had the Cinderella sides capture the imagine of the public like they did in the 80's and 90's. Perhaps this is because of the increased professionalism and focus on the mental attitude in footy these days of the top sides.

With all due respect to Norwood, surely the Bays are 2nd favourite for the flag behind the Dogs?
