Good question - one that I've been waiting for the answer on myself for some weeks now.

The Magarey Medal will be held on the evening of Tuesday 14th September 2010...

There wont be any TV coverage for the whole duration of the night, I'd suggest Channel 9 will probably do their semi-regular updates throughout the course of the night.

I know LifeFM were hoping to broadcast the night but I think a lack of fundings for the outside broadcast has put a halt to that and I believe AdelaideNow / localfootysa might be involved on the night in some way.

Stay tuned for further details on this as they are released...

After we tried to step in and cover it last year at the last minute the SANFL advised that it will be covered live this year "in someway".

PhilH may be able to elaborate

That's what I was hearing...

I'm pretty sure LifeFM have also offered to take a live feed from AdelaideNow if technology permits but not sure what stage that is at.

it is very disapointing that this night isnt covered, maybe the SANFL should have put some money into something more import like this night than helping to bundle the powder puffs out of strife.

Copied from LocalfootySA website:  http://www.adelaidenow.com.au/sport/afl ... 5911018278

SANFL fans - consider this your invite to the Magarey Medal.
LocalfootySA is taking you inside AAMI Stadium to watch the competition's night of nights on September 14 live and exclusive via the internet.

Coverage of the Magarey Medal starts at 8pm with our cameras taking you along the red carpet as players and their WAGS arrive.

There will be interviews with past winners and SA football legends before live coverage of the count.

We'll bring you round-by-round voting right up to the announcement of the winner and have the exclusive first interview with the 2010 Magarey Medallist.

It is your pass to one of the most prestigious sporting events on the SA calendar, made possible by the SANFL and our award-winning website.

LocalfootySA - a joint venture between The Advertiser, Sunday Mail and Messenger Community News - was crowned `specialist site of the year' at the Pacific Area Newspaper Publishers' Association (PANPA) awards in Sydney on Thursday night.

Jeez, the recent 4million doesn't do it for you?

I think Dutchy remembers last years promised web coverage which went into meltdown on the night.

That said Adelaide Now has we cast large events like State & Federal Elections before so should have the ability to cope with the traffic.

I'll probably find out who won it on my home page next morning.
I'd possibly watch it, in passing, if it were on TV - maybe by channel switching, rather than watch it in detail.
