Round 21 - West v Port Magpies @ Richmond 7.40pm Fri 20 Aug

Postby GWW » Sun Aug 15, 2010 11:44 pm

West has been poor in their recent games and they will be desperate to win this week against the Magpies to keep in touch with the top 5.

The inconsistent Magpies have a chance of notching a win, however i think the Bloods at home can win by around 2 goals.

That would mean keeping Port to 1 goal.

how far away is lobbe ?

if he plays then west have a ruckman & it then releases willits to either chb or chf with ferguson & this will be enough for west to win but if willits has to combat both micklejon & cloke i think those two will wear down willits & port will run over the top west

Just got the weekly Port newsletter and saw a gem of an offer from Westies. For each beer purchased at the Mound Bar, with a voucher, $1 goes back to the Magpies.

Vouchers here:

Well played West Adelaide! What a good bunch of blokes down there!

Would be a great reward for a mountain of hard work if Logan Hill returns to league footy this week. Good luck mate.

Pettigrew listed in the Power team - your kidding. 1 kick vs Sturt and his form warrants selection? Looking at it, may be one last look at him before they make a decision on his spot on their list for 2011.

Webb will be very fortunate to play if he survives the final cut, I would have a look at Borholm or Br Fisher (but again they are in the 2s)

with especially lobbe in that west side looks a lot more balance to me than in recent weeks, so i'd suggest westies will jump back into the 5 at around 10pm TOMorrow night (yes i think norwood will win as well)

Agreed pretty horrific injury and full credit to the lad for sticking at it and to Westies for supporting him.

Alot of people dont know this, but Chad O'Sullivan had a extremely similar break, and has had very similar problems as Logan has had through his first year in recovery. Logan has been helping Chad in his recovery in the last couple of weeks! Apparently he isnt such a bad bloke for a Centrals fella ;)
