Seems to me that the players are unwilling/unable to carry out the game plan he wants. Means either get players willing to play how the coach wants, or move the coach on. Personally, I think there's a bit of a problem with the cattle there at the moment not willing to do the work. The coach can't make players chase harder or run into space harder and to me they seem to be the downfalls of North this season.

Sad thing is all the work Jarman did to rebuild the club, get some good players there it almost feels like North have exhausted this group and need some new blokes in key roles. Gill is finished, the midfield to me lacks a bit of class and the defense just seems so incapable. Probably 3 years have been utterly wasted IMHO.

From what I've seen of their style of play this year, if Healy is there next year one can only hope from an SANFL supporters point-of-view they are wooden-spooners. For all their talent, their performances have been a disgrace and not the sort of footy we want to promote to get people to the games.

I'm really confused ... wasn't this supposed to be happening down the Bay this year? :-s

Rats leaving the sinking ship, player revolts, coach in trouble, yada, yada, yada ... maybe, just maybe North need to clean out those not willing to go on the journey.

Strong leadership is required ... for North's sake some people need to stand up and deliver.

It's not for me to comment on Healy's coaching as I've only seen North 3 times this year, twice against Norwood and once against Glenelg on TV. I will say that I am genuinely shocked at how easy it was to defeat North yesterday, and at how poor they played.

In previous years we always had trouble dealing with North's pace (both leg and movement of the ball), and their arrogance (and I mean this in a positive way). There was none of that yesterday, and it was hard at times to believe I was watching North. I guess a coach has to take some of the blame for that.

I've been listening to North supporters carrying on about how terrible their team is. After yesterday's game I can now understand their frustration.

I know I speak for all Glenelg supporters (and I unanimous in this) when I say Healy deserves another year at North.... ;) :D
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

He has 1 year left, he will be there next year, unless there is a mutual agreement made.

I don't think it all comes down to the coach. I think the culture at North needs to be changed and that doesn't happen over night.

The year North are having reminds me of Centrals in 1999. We finished 7th and during the year there were murmurs on the terraces about our game plan not being any good and plenty of people wanting Jonas gone.

Jonas was kept and the rest is history.

Always sacking the coach is not the answer.

in defence, Norf have played 45 players this year in the league side, 13 first-gamers. Very unsettling.

I knew Healy loved to flood but that's just ridiculous.
