Sorry not sure what the argument is. The stats were just in the newsletter, part of discussing the decade (hence 2000-2009).

Don't worry, over our whole history Centrals are still 20 wins in front of South.

Think only Norwood and Port have winning records over Centrals now. Norwood only marginally, we still have some way to catch Port but we've almost beaten them as many times as South. Overall record between Sturt and Centrals also very close.

Interesting stats, and that's about as dominant a record as you're ever likely to see.
I wonder what Port's record was in their decade (s) of dominance? Or even Sturt's?
It would be good to see how the other clubs shape up against each other in the decade of 2000 to 2009. Which two clubs were most evenly matched and which record was the most one sided?

I think our record against West and South would take some beating. Perhaps our record against Norwood might be a little disappointing considering they have hardly set the SANFL on fire these past ten years.
I'm gonna sit back, crack the top off a Pale Ale, and watch the Double Blues prevail

Yep, Sturt's 2 wins this year has tied it up. 53 all.

Interesting stats out of that is our dominance against North who did have periods of success and our struggles against Norwood who were pretty ordinary throughout the 2000's

Probably for evenness of end-of-year placings v win-loss, the Eagles and Sturt would be one of the closest in terms of ladder positions, but greatest disparage in terms if win-loss. Sturt certainly owe us a couple, and I reckon if they make the finals they will knock us off in the first week.
