Round 19 - Glenelg v West @ Glenelg 2.10pm Sat 7th Aug

Postby GWW » Sun Aug 01, 2010 9:02 pm

Glenelg will enter this clash with West as fairly strong favourites, and the Bays will be keen for a big win against a side keen to hold a spot in the 5.

West are capable of an upset, but i think the home team will get the 2 premiership points. Glenelg by 5 goals.

Its our talisman's 100th game, Ty Allen. Boys will need to be up* for this one. We take West lightly at our peril. Top three isn't sealed yet so this is a game we must win.

Go you Mighty Bays.
Let that be a lesson to you Port, no one beats the Bays five times in a row in a GF and gets away with it!!!

See this is what disappoints Surt fans the most about this season, they can handle the defeats but what they can't stand is that for a week they ahve to turn into Bays supporters....

doesn't look a bad side on paper, very dangerous forward line, although bricknell is a big loss imho (i presume he's out injured)

Dropped for some strange reason.

I reckon he would be close to leading our B and F so the only reason I can think off is disciplinary.

unbelievable imho, happy to see from a glenelg pov as he is/was the 'go to' man across half back, adds strength & has a good accurate kick on him

Huge danger game this one. Need to be on the ball here as Westies will be wanting to atone for their last outing. 100% effort needed for 100% of time, Tigers.

if the gfc are to be considered a genuine contender for the flag this is a must win game in fact we have to win every game from here on in just about, 3 of our last 4 are against other contenders in the eags, legs and dogs, however as they say 1 week at a time, tigers should win on their home deck, west no match for the dogs last start, dare i say it? bays comfortably at the finish
