CDFC Commemorative jumper

Postby Dogsbody » Fri Jul 30, 2010 9:27 pm

Don't know whether or not there's a thread already for this... ah well.

Centrals are making available a jumper which commemorates the 10th anniversary of the inaugural premiership won by the club.

Check it out here.

All the writing on the bottom part of the jumper is Daniel Hulm's speech on the podium after the game.
Very fitting I would have thought.

Considering the amount of advertising on SANFL jumpers these days, you would have thought they'd be a lot cheaper. :?

$90 is a bargain considering last year's 50th anniversary guernsey was $100, and the Crows were charging $150 for their 'heritage' jumper earlier this year (and that had errors on it).
They don't keep me here because I'm gorgeous and 5'10

Seems quite reasonable compared to the $75 for a standard guernsey......as someone else said, a must for 'Dogs fans......mine's ordered :)

That is something Central has never been guilty of, killing their jumper with adverts. All power to them for that.

Interesting concept, just printing a speech, albeit a very important and emotional one on the guernsey.

For mine a little plain and could have had a little more of a unique flavour to it. Something to truly represent the landmark day that it was.

For in all reality if you saw someone wearing one of those or a standard guernsey from 50 metres away you would not be able to pick it as any different.

Good initiative though.
If you want to go quickly, go alone.

If you want to go far, go together.

I got a couple. The good thing about them is the white band is in the center, so it was a good spot to get the signatures on Sunday.
The guernsey style worn on the day, all players names and Danny's speech. I can't think of anything I would have added or removed from it. Straight to the pool room.
