:D Im surprised you were the second post in this topic when i put Lawry down, i think he has been really good this year and can't think of many other fullbacks that have done better and played the majority of games this season.

Try Silvester.

Lewis in for Welsh.

Kirkby CHF instead of Alleway.

McKenzie's form doesn't warrant CHB.

Zorzi hasn't played back pocket all year.

Not sure how Chris Kane has gone?

More later.

F: Dutchke (CD) Chamber(ST) Callinan(CD)

HF: Sheedy(St) Kirkby (Gl) Phillips(NW)

C: Tenace(G) J.Allan(NA) B.Kane(G)

HB: Mules (Gl) Ferguson(WA) O'Hara(CD)

B: McGuinness(NW) Lawry (GL) Zorzi(NW)

R: MacKenzie(CD) Thomas(CD) T.Allan(G)

INT: Giles(ST) Liddle (SA) Summerton(PA)

Good side Whufc, aggree with most. Debated if Mills for us was worthy of FB but Lawry has been impressive. I know I am looking for rose coloured glasses but Mules has been super for us since he came back and we missed him big time last year in the Prelim final. Is very important for us.

Yep Lewis has to be an in. Don't know on what grounds you picked Welsh other than reputation. Has been ok but certainly not worthy of being picked in State side. McKenzie has had a shocker this year and has only found some form in the last 2 weeks. I reckon Geddes would be around the mark as well

Must admit Welsh hasn't been in the greatest form BUT if your picking a state team to beat the vics having Welsh as your fourth forward would mean it is a very very very handy side.

Most AFL teams struggle to find four better forwards. Plus with the quality of the service he would recieve i think his overall class would stand out.

As well i personally like players that have a knack of kicking goals, both Welsh and Callinan have that knack even when there not playing well. At worse Welsh could come of a half back flank as well.

From a westies point of view, Silvester should be in the state side
IMO. Not a bad side though!! Brad Geddes on form could make that side before he did
his knee

On paper Am Bays Team would be a great State Team.

I agree with AM...I also admire Mills and Mules the quiet achievers - under-estimated by many opposition supporters, but not their players.
