It was a real struggle in the first half. The last two goals of the 2nd quarter were crucial as North looked like they may get away - especially with the Eagles losing one of our better players in Geddes to what looked like a serious knee injury. The Eagles handball skills were appalling. Finally started to play some decent footy in the last quarter to get a much needed win. I would imagine that is the final nail in North's coffin for the year.

Thought Powell was solid all day and Rimington was fantastic in the last half. Hentschel, Giuffreda and Thompson were good down back, keeping Gill and Alleway quiet. Jarrad, Lewis and McKenzie came into the game as we got on top.

Really like this guy, such a great athlete. Need to tidy up his disposal but a lot to worth with.

A crucial game we had to win. Thought we just did enought but certainly not one of our finest games. In the first 3 quarters both sides exhibited some of the most atrocious skills I have seen in a long, long time.

In addition to the usual suspects who played well (Cicca, Powell, Grocke) it was great to see others have some good games. Best game I have seen from Thompson who IMO is more suited down back to up forward where he has played ever second week. I hope Godden lets him settle back there. Good comeback game from Hentschell. Parry was solid and Lewis was brilliant. I thought most players had some good moments at some stage during the match aside from Goldsworth who again was a passsenger and needs to be sent back to the reserves to regain some touch as he is a valuable player when in touch

Was Goldsworthy injured? He was on the bench for all but about 10 minutes of the second half. Agree he has been quiet. We miss what Cheep and Goldsworthy were able to provide us earlier in the season.

He wasn't playing league. Didn't see the ressies so not sure if he lined up there.

Thompson has something about him. Perhaps another one of those 3rd tall down back types at AFL level.

What a dour uninteresting game of footy, The Eagles were bad, North were a lot worse, both sides have a long way to go to threaten anyone above them (I doubt North can threaten anyone other than South ATM)

I thought the Eagles were bad in the first 1/2.Eagles and the Umps almost got North the win at times today.
After 1/2 time eagles actually looked better when they moved the ball on quickly.

Where were the North fans today not as much red there this week.I'm used to prospect being packed with Roosters fans!!

Thompson is a far better back man than Forward IMHO at this stage of his career.
Jacky played in the seconds.

Nothing wrong with the umpiring today, but obviously something there's something wrong with your vision.

Only a fan whose team was favoured by the umpires would write that.
But then my eye sight must be far superior to North Adelaides Forwards kicking for goals !!!
And my poor eye sight noticed many of Norths fans stayed home today.Seeing in most games between the two teams in recent years the Red army is always out in force!

Why because Eagle fans are posting 2 hours after a game or the losing Teams fans aren't.
Its what happens AM BAYS perhaps you'd do better commenting on your game.
And if your going to have a say where is WHUFC his bet is looking better tonight !!

One of the many intelligent comments coming from that wing I'm sure.

Eagles fans can never be accused of being bandwagon supporters, they don't rock up whether their team is winning or losing.
