Round 14 - Norwood v West @ Norwood 2.10pm Sat 26th June

Norwood's form at home has been impressive this year, and they're starting to make it a feared ground for opposition clubs like they traditionally have in the past. I think they can win this games against West, although I think the Bloods will put up a strong fight. Norwood by 20 points.

Big game for both clubs. Westies generally play well at Norwood, so looking forward to it.

West or Norwood by 1 to 10 :)

West and South are the only teams Norwood hasn't beaten in 2010. Norwood will be keen to atone for their loss at Richmond in Round 4.

Big pressure on Norwood this week. After beating the top side and talk of Grand Finals a loss to West and they could be as low as 5th and only 1 game inside the top 5.

Some of our most embarrassing performances have been against West in recent times. We have basically been non competitive in the last two games so hopefully we turn up to play as we owe them a few.

Ive had to wait until these 2 sides met
Paul Puopolo is he the re-incarnation of the former WA/NW player Greg Nicholson

When I see the Pup bounding out of defence it reminds me so much of Greg without a Mo

I think the only pressure being made out is by some Centrals supporters. If you have paid any attention to the Norwood coach, he has consistently demonstrated a completely different approach and view to what you imply.

The team lost the first 4 games and won the next 4. Then it was the bye. At that point the coach said he was only focussing on the next 5 games before the team's next bye, which were vs Eagles, Central, Sturt, Port and West. So far, that's resulted in 3 wins and 1 loss. The other thing the coach has consistently said is that there are no easy games in the SANFL so he prepares the team and the club to know there are no guarantees you will win just by turning up.

Even when he got the job, Bassett made no promises of finals appearances. Only this week has he mentioned for the first time the possibility of making the 5.

A loss to West and yes, the team can slip down the ladder. But realistically, the team's performances have exceeded expectations for 2010. Maybe you should contact Nathan Bassett and see if he thinks you're spot on about "Big Pressure on Norwood and talk of Grand Final Appearances" because I think he'll only be thinking about beating West right now. He certainly won't be thinking about the ramifications of a loss, or what he will or wont be doing on the first weekend in October.

LMAO, I reckon you could get a job as a gladwrap substitute you're that transparent.

You show me where more than one Norwood person (hi Fester :D ) is talking about Grand Finals and I'll retract. Any sensible Norwood fan would be thrilled to be in the finals this year given four years of Mr. T. Hill. Any other claims are all your own slightly desperate work.

Last time I checked this game, like the others that comprise a season, counted for two points.
