Both sides will be extra keen for a win to stay in touch with the top 3. I think the Bloods with the home ground advantage can win a close one, by about 2 goals.

will westies have a ruckman this week ? if not wwt will win but the make up of both teams will be a determining factor to the outcome should be a contest, i'll tip wwt by 6 goals presuming west are without a ruckman

Eagles could have Vince, Salter, Schulz, Broadbent and Hentschell playing for them this week.

Is this the 3rd time these 2 sides have met already this season (and the 2nd time at Richmond now?) ???
Anyway, I reckon the Bloods might get up* in this one, in somewhat of an upset...

I am sure that they will lift their game, but will it be enough to win.

Just the 2nd for premiership points BP - Eagles won the earlier battle played at Woodville.

I highly doubt that Vincle will play for the Eagles this week. He racked up 31 possesions for the South reserves on the weekend, has now served his club imposed 1 match ban and will be selected for the Crows this week.

Would be surprised if Broady played for PAP Smears... he got dropped last week & didn't play... if he does play for them, then the coaching staff don't have a clue, do they?
Surely, a player can't force his way back into an AFL team, if he doesn't play SANFL league the week before ????

OK I stand corrected - with the Crows having the week off due to the split round Vince appears set to return to the Eagles league team, Hentschel however more than likely to return through the reserves.

The last time these 2 side met for the shield, it was West Adelaide by a point after West led by about 5 goals.
