Thanks to Richard Williams for the win and thanks for Ben Warren for the entertainment. Woooooohoooooo!

I go each week thinking games can't be any worse than the one I saw the week before and am always suprised at new levels or terribleness. (yeah I know its not a word but it seems so apt). Glad I didn't subject my missus and kids to another game of it today.

Well done to the Sheik who proclaimed his bet of South +27.5 was still safe when North were 8 goals up!

North got clapped off by some fans as usual.

North fans should be buying Cockshell drinks for a month after his 1st half display which set up their win

I watched a higher quality Year 4/5 Primary School match this morning, my son's team won 14-4 to 4-3 in 4X10 min qtrs, much higher standard with better skills, better umpiring, better in all regards.
North are now equal 3rd on points on the ladder. :?
The SANFL is a lower standard than the SANFL reserves were 10 years ago.
(and that's probably being harsh on the SANFL reserves 10 years ago by even comparing them)
Awful awful awful awful.

Pity with the mercy rule in Junior footy the actual winning margin wont stand Wedgie but well done to the boys

The mercy rule we have doesn't change the winning margin at all, it gave them 4 free kicks from in front of goals during the game though.

The crowd was announced as 1500. I think some creative licence being taken there because there is no way there were 1500 today. Maybe they counted everyone twice

You know the crowd is low when there is no line for the BBQ. Still takes about 10 minutes to get a steak sandwich though.

AdelaideNow has quoted 1523. Pi%s poor turn out considering it was the only SANFL match today.

I suppose it could be the competition for SA Football enthuisasts with a dilema deciding whether to go to Prospect Oval or Footy Park, and they decided watching Tyson Edwards was better value.
Heard the attendance there was about 36,000 according to 5AA commentary team.
