The Bloods have shown big improvement this year but may not have it all their way against the young Magpies side who have probably performed above expectations so far this year.

At home, I'd expect West to win by about 5 goals.

port are brave & are definately putting in for 4 full quarters however barring about 4 players their bodies can't handle the bigger bodies yet, west to have a field night on friday night & bricknell to dominate across half back..westies running away by about 4 goals

A game we just need to win. Whether it is ugly or not. Can't afford to drop games to Port if we are to make the finals. Next few weeks are very important to how our season shapes up.

Thanks to the great stats man PhilH, Westies only officially need 3101 people to the game on Friday night to better there TOTAL home crowd figure for the whole of season 2009. Of course the lights have been sensational for the Bloods, I'd be very confident this will happen.

Come to think of it, make that only 3100 people because I know I'll be there for sure.

Pretty pleased with the pace in that side, although Slatts will be a loss on the wing. Great to see BIG Kory Beard back in the Reserves too. A little size in the side will work wonders!

be interested to see how Jay Shannon goes back in A grade for the 1st time this year
