North 2.15 to the Southern end.
Ordinary game, but a win is a win. Eagles still lacking one or two quick players.

Umpires were consistent, but paying too many crap free kicks both ways, probably couple more to Eagles, but we seemed to want the ball a bit more after the first quarter.

Pyman at South apparently expected too much commitment from the players, forgetting they are only part-timers. Is Healy falling into the same trap of trying to implement a game-plan that part-timers don't have the time to perfect. Just do Roosters and other SANFL supporters a favour and play footy FFS.

Still a bit hard to assess the Eagles. From what I've seen and heard, only one real decent effort against Sturt.

McIntyre to hospital to have scans.

Well, besides the fact the nail was put into NA's coffin today, we also saw the death of the hip and shoulder. It was put on by Delvins near the end of the 3rd qtr.

Was that the one in the centre square and Lewis got the free? If it was, don't know what else Delvins could have done because he only took one step and Lewis, who had eyes on the ball trying to take it chest-height accidentally ran into him. I don't think Delvins was iniatially expecting contact, so he did well to only bump.

Wish he was still playing for us, another player we no longer have thanks to Jarman and other wonderful people at the NAFC.

Pretty average game. I didn't realise North were that bad. Undisciplined and lacking in skill. If they could've nailed some early goals they may have put some pressure on the Eagles, but bad kicking is bad football.

I thought the Eagles were solid without hitting any great heights. Our defence was fantastic. Allmond, Stewart, Jarrad all ran off half back and set up play with ease and Greiger, McKenzie and Miles were very solid. Lewis was very good on the ball and Cheep was lively.

Seeing "Captain" White rub Greiger's face in the ground after disposal and give away a free kick sums up North. They seem a very frustrated bunch and I'm sure they'll spend all night peeling off the labels from their beers, wishing they could get some sort of middle man to what Jarman has been and Healy is.

When is Healy contracted til?

I would imagine the NAFC wouldn't see his appointment as a huge success.

No, that wasn't it. I will take note on the replay at a later stage and let you know. Happened on the Eagles half forward flank, eastern side.

Was good to finish a team off properly today.

Grocke a sniper??? How about McIntyre getting stretchered off after a hit to the stomach!

Thought Whyman was good for North - what got into him with about 3 minutes left?
